Effect of onions on blood fibrinolytic activity.
Twenty-two convalescent patients at rest were given a fat-enriched breakfast with and without the addition of 60 g. of fried or boiled onions. Both forms of onions were found to prevent the expected decrease in fibrinolytic activity, and indeed the latter was actually increased.

this experimental study has been conducted to test the effect of oral presentation on the development of l2 learners grammar. but this oral presentation is not merely a deductive instruction of grammatical points, in this presentation two hypotheses of krashen (input and low filter hypotheses), stevicks viewpoints on grammar explanation and correction and widdowsons opinion on limited use of l1...

Blood circulating in extracorporeal circuit of the apheresis sets has a contact with an artificial surface. The data on the influence of plateletpheresis on fibrinolytic activity are very limited and difficult to interpret. The aim of our study was to estimate the effect of plateletpheresis on the activation of fibrinolysis. Plateletpheresis was performed in 17 healthy blood donors using contin...
متن کاملEffect of chylomicrons on the fibrinolytic activity of normal human plasma in vitro.
The reported inhibition of fibrinolytic activity of blood plasma after ingestion of fat has been confirmed. It is shown that the ehylomicrons present in such plasma are responsible for this phenomenon. r r i H E PLASMA of normal fasted human _1_ subjects possesses fibrinolytic activity which can be quantitated by measuring the in vitro lysis of fibrin clots, plasma clots, or whole blood clots. ...

1. The method of Kekwick & Mackay (1954) for the fractionation of human plasma protems was used successfully for the separation of the serum proteins ofguinea pig, rat, rabbit, cat, dog, monkey, ox, horse and sheep. 2. By variations in pH, ionic strength, temperature and solvent concentration, three fractions consisting essentially of a mixture of xand #globulins (G2); y-globulin (G 3) and albu...
